  • APRIL 30, 2010: MARCH AFB AIR SHOW-The Squadron joined the AFA Squadron which featured the Canadian Skyhawks, a demo of the F-22-the Air Forces' newest and fastest fighter, US Army Golden Knights Precision Parachute Team and the Mig-17 "Red Bull" and the B-25 ("Wall of Fire").

  • JUNE 9, 2010: EDWARDS AFB & NASA-Flight Line and NASA museum and complex which included lab equipment for flight experiments.

  • JUNE 22, 2010: USS NIMITZ CVN-68-Toured air control center. Certificate of adoption presented to Cdr. Jason Salata (PAO) promoting our SOQ/SOY program.

  • JULY 15, 2010: HSL-45 (SH-60 Bravo) WOLF PACK & HSM-41 SEAHAWKS (MH-60 Romeo) staged "Fly-in" at Palm Springs Air Museum for inspection and power point briefing.

  • AUG. 14, 2010: USS RONALD REAGAN CVN-76-The ship is 97,000 tons with full load and is almost four football fields long (1,092 ft.) carrying 60+ aircraft. Certificate of adoption was presented to Capt. Burke, CO.

  • OCT. 2, 2010: MIRAMAR AIR SHOW-Featured Blue Angels, Canadian Forces Snowbirds Demo Team, an aerobatic demo by AF F-16 Falcon, and F-22, AV-88 Harrier Jet and the Marine Air Ground Task Forces demo and more.

  • November 14, 2010: The Miramar Air Show was attended by 55 who enjoyed the precision flying of the Blue Angels.

  • December 4, 2010: Squadron Change of Command Dinner held at The Hilton Palm Springs Resort with guest speaker Captain Thom Burke, CO USS Ronald Reagan. Tom Ackland assumed command of the Squadron from Peter Richardson. Patriot of the Year was awarded to Gene Ramirez.
